A friend of mine is putting on this show in San Ramon at her gallery Artescape Studios:
3rd Annual WordHouses, Visual Journals and Wild Idea Catchers Exhibition
The first exhibition for 2006 is the 3rd Annual WORDHOUSES, VISUAL JOURNALS & WILD IDEA CATCHERS exhibition. Partners Julie Valentine and elizaBeth Benson have co- produced this exhibition for the past two years as part of Phantom Galleries and The Red Dragonfly in San Jose. This year, we're pleased to bring this important "artists' process" show to Artescape Studios. This is an exhibition that celebrates the artifacts of an artists process: journals, napkins, envelopes, idea trackers and the art that is made from them. We're open to exhibiting paintings that celebrate words, art books, altered books, and journals of all kinds. Deadline to submit work for this show: December 6, 2005.
