Materials Exchange?

Even before I read that stuff in the Piano Rolls thread, I'd been wondering about doing some sort of materials exchange.

I have a lot of the flat glass marbles and similier glass objects. Some plastic figurines. Glitter. Textiles--cloth and some threads. Seed beads. I'm sure there's more, but that's off the top of my head.

So, how could/should this work? What are people looking for? What do they have?
