use rubber stamps in their altered books? i was just looking at the pics in the rubber stamping tribe album and saw some nice pieces. i invited the person whose work it is, but wondered who else uses them?

speedy stamp and some lino cutters and you are good to go- just remember that you carve the oppisite of what you want - you cut out what you want to be the color of the page...- letters have to be backwards- unless you want them to print backwards, which is fun too... -

I have used all kinds of rubber stamped images in my altered books. The best examples would be in my book The Motor Girls of Crystal Bay which you can see at karenswhimsy.com/altered-b...motorgirls . Check out page two and page six. On page two I used embossed images of castles. I stamped them on separate sheets of colored paper, cut them out, and then glued them on the page. On page six, I used stamped images of gears along the edge of the page. Hope that helps.
