I was on an altered book site and I found this woman who is writing her Phd on artists that use found objects (junk) in thier work.

    what a neat idea. After all, what we choose to include in our altered books very much reflects who we are and how we are feeling! Some days it is pearls and lace, others it is a smear of mud :)
