I had a restoration catalog, found some images of old tubs and made two different pages featuring the tubs. I'll post them here. I think you just to to have a big pile of stuff to work with. Once the terracotta dried and was fired I cast it in paper. It is flat enough to get the idea of a door and its symbology and can be put between the pages of a book (esp if you cut several pages away to allow it to close flat). If applying to the front of a book you you could actually add a vintage door knob.
